Dearest Unity CommUnity,
Did you ever hear the phrase, “Pull yourself up by the bootstraps?” I sure did. I interpreted that to suggest the way for me to accomplish what I wanted in my life was by working hard and doing things alone. I have discovered, that is far from the truth. Yes, there are things I must do which only I can do. When I have taken a test for instance, I am the only one who can take that test. However, leading up to the test, I might gain assistance from my instructor, a mentor or with tutoring. When we create a team approach to life, we are able to accomplish more. I am looking forward to seeing you this Sunday when I speak on being “Stronger Together.”
