As we expand our mission of Unity in the Community, we will meet people from many walks of life. Some may face challenges such as drug and alcohol addiction, mental health concerns or other special needs. We need to be prepared to respond instead of react when we come face to face with those whose lives are not the best they could be. Mental Health First Aid is a FREE certification course designed to give participants the tools to respond to psychiatric emergencies until professional help arrives and to improve people’s mental health literacy. Please join us as we prepare to become a larger presence of Unity in the Community.
