Reverend Edith Washington-Woods is an empowering, motivational leader and inspirational speaker who loves teaching Unity Truth Principles. In doing so, she uses and draws from Unity and a variety of Spiritual sources. She is passionate about being of service to others in heart-centered ways. The highlight of her service has been with Interfaith communities, marginalized, her 12 step community, LGBTQ+ communities, schools, YWCA’s Girl Power Program, and participating in the Science & Industries' African Americans in Science exhibits. Reverend Edith was the first African American woman to be a licensed electrician in the state of Minnesota and has served in this way for 26 years. She specializes in empowering effective, heart-centered leaders. She prays and meditates daily with prayer partners from several spiritual traditions. Her strength is in how she assists with personal transformation, connects people with each other and then partners with them in making a positive impact in their lives and the world. Reverend Edith is a licensed and ordained Unity minister under Unity Worldwide Ministries with a Master of Divinity from Unity Institute and Seminary. She is also a Licensed Unity Teacher specializing in Adult Education.
