Combined Teen Ministry

Our new Combined Teen Ministry group, consisting of Uniteens (Junior High) and Y.O.U. (High School), is on an exciting spiritual journey as they work their way through the first few lessons of the Unity publication, “Teens on the Quest.” This basic material is being used to give the teens a firm, solid foundation in Unity so that they know they can rely on God no matter what they encounter in their lives. Uniteens and Y.O.U. will still split into separate groups for SW Unity regional events, but after a visit from SW Unity Regional Teen Consultant, Mark Fisk, it was decided that it was in the best interest of our teens to form a combined teen group due to the small number of Uniteens and Y.O.U. that currently attend CCU.

On the third Sunday of each month we focus on our Shining Unity club by being of service in our community. In addition, the Uniteens participate in fundraising projects, service projects, overnight regional events and other activities to provide the "connection" that young teens need and desire to find balance in their lives.

Currently all our youth are hard at work on our Christmas play for 2009. They meet each week on the 3rd floor of our Christ Church Unity Prayer tower at 11 am.
