Gals Night Out –Monday, Jan 23rd

The gals are invited to the home of Lynne Adams who lives in La Mesa.  Please arrive at 7:00 p.m.  Lynne will have a special treasure hunt for everyone to do. Three volunteers are asked to bring refreshments.  Lynne lives at 4785 Mayapan Dr., La Mesa, 92041.

Gals Weekend Away - Feb. 10th to Feb. 12th

The gals will be  making their annual trip to Julian for a weekend away. They will stay at the Julian Meadow View Inn.  Lodge rooms have a shared bathroom. The cost will be approx. $125 for a single room and $75 for a shared room. There is a microwave and coffee maker, plus refrigerators in the lodge rooms. Food is mostly bring your own, but most go into Julian for dinner.  Bring your favorite craft, book or other activity. The Inn has many areas where you may walk and enjoy nature. A New Club!

We are asking for your prayer support in an effort to engage and attract young adults to our church family.  At the recent Unity Convention, we were excited to learn about the Next Generation Unity (NGU) Program.  (That N could also stand for now and new.)  The target ages of NGU are 18-35ish.  Currently there is no active NGU Program in our region.  We want to change that. Jacquie and Rob Hardesty, Bill Pitts and Sheryl Eaves have begun the planning process of creating an NGU Program at CCU.  We are very open to ideas and suggestions but mostly would like for you to hold a prayer focus as   we move forward with this process.  We want to create a dynamic, self-sustaining program where visitors and potential new members feel welcome, their needs are met, as well as maintain relevancy for this next  generation of church members.  Thank you for your prayers that warmly embrace our church congregation  as we visualize several generations worshipping together in the harmony of God's love under our roof.

Unity Women’s Circle  
Fridays at 6:00 p.m. on the 3rd floor

Cynthia McGovern will be providing a safe space for women of all ages to come and share what is on their minds and in their hearts. All topics welcome!  So, come laugh, share, and support each other.  (Cynthia McGovern has been part of the Unity community since 1987. She has taken Unity classes and practices the Unity principles in her life.)
